Lightspeed Faction is a dedicated blockchain and crypto-focused VC fund spun off from Lightspeed Venture Partners. It launched its first fund of $285M in late 2023, investing largely in infrastructure and protocol-level startups across the web3 stack. With average checks of $5M–$10M, Faction leads early rounds and maintains significant flexibility in deployment—roughly 80% of its capital remains uncommitted.
